Many of you had the chance to visit with John and Peris Keshe on their first trip ever to America. John and Peris are our beloved Connection Pointe partners from Kenya, where they oversee an organization they founded that provides support for vulnerable Maasai girls to attend school. In the process, these girls not only get a good education but they also build their confidence, are perpetually happy, and learn about God’s love for them. In addition, they meet each other and develop a friendship that can last for years.

Below are pictures from John and Peris’s trip, a mix of new experiences in the USA and holding several meet-and-greet times in homes and at church. 4 new sponsors were found for girls during these meetings, and others are waiting. If you are interested in sponsoring, you can find more information here. You can also learn more about John here from one of my previous posts.

IDOP…

Sunday, Nov 4, is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Details here. We have partners in Indochina, Turkey, Middle East and India that live under threat because of their faith. We share sparingly about them in public, to minimize their exposure to those wanting to persecute them. Please be in prayer for these believers who have counted the cost and accept the consequences of freedom in Christ. They consider it a privilege and a joy (Romans 5:1-5). Remember to pray for them.

Til next week,
