Mountain Mission School |  (Family Trip) (Grundy, VA)
Date: Feb 15 – 18
Leader: Children’s Team
Cost: $200 adults / Elem Kids free

Trip Description: This trip is called “The Snack Attack” trip. You will have the pleasure of delivering love, friendship and snacks to our friends at the Mountain Mission School where winters can be dark and lonely.

Guatemala | High School Students
March 30 – April 6
Cost: $1,500

Trip Description: Meet and spend time with your sponsored child, 4 days of VBS with children of Los Verdes at Learning Center. Activities for the week include participating in a community project, taking children on field trip and a community soccer game.

Kenya Maasai | KCEA
April 11 – 20
Cost: $2700

Trip description: John Keshe and his wife Paris run a community-based organization that provides high school fees for disadvantaged Maasai girls. Diverted from an early marriage, these girls receive an education that provides them a better life and allows them to contribute more to their communities from a Christian perspective. Trip members will meet these girls and local Maasai Christian women to be involved in the annual life skills empowerment conference organized by John and Paris.

Date: June 15 – 26
Cost: $2,900

Trip Description: Join us as we love and encourage the children and our partners in Swaziland. While spending time at the church and care point in Njojane, you will have the opportunity to meet your sponsored child, encourage church and care point staff, participate in the feeding program and Wellness Day, visit with families in their homes, teach God’s Word through stories and activities, visit a nearby school and other care points, as well as go on an African game drive.

eSwatini | 
Date: Oct 12 – 23
Cost: $2600

Trip Description: Good dental care is needed in the rural areas Children’s Cup works with sponsored children. We are looking for 4-6 dental professionals – dentists and hygienists – who can provide basic dental services to meet this need. We also need 4-6 people who can provide support to the dental team or spend time with the children at the care pointes on these dental days. Part of the trip includes an African game drive. Flexibility, traveling to different care pointes, and enjoyment of eager children crowding around can be expected! If this interests you, please join us. This will be a unique trip with high benefit for the hundreds and hundreds of children who are served.

Kenya Nairobi | Trip for Child Sponsors
June 9 – 16
Trip Leader: Adam Hemmings
Cost: $2,500
Team Size: 10

Trip Description:  This trip will be a good introduction for those who are sponsoring children from the area. Plans include a week of fun activities at Madoya School with the sponsored children, meeting school staff and encouraging them, visiting humble homes in the community with social workers, and enjoying a half-day game drive in nearby Nairobi National Park. You can expect long-haul flights, comfortable but modest accommodations, tasty food, brand new experiences and very full hearts. Take your cameras!

Cost: $1,100

Team Size: 10

Trip Description: Red Sands School has relocated to Winslow, AZ and already doubled in enrollment. We are looking for musicians, artists, potters, and other creatives who can not only demonstrate their skill to inspire the children but also have ways to teach and encourage the children in the arts. This week will support the school and staff in offering this special week of music and the arts. Join us if you have these skills and interest. Our team meetings will be more than other teams, to help us develop a plan together, so we are well prepared to bless the staff and students for a week of learning. Connection Pointe member Dawn Springer has taught at this school for 26 years, and this is one way we can show our support and appreciation for her.

Mountain Mission School |  (Grundy, VA)
Date: Sat, Oct 12 – Fri, Oct 18

Cost: $500 for adults / Elementary Kids are Free

Trip Description: The Mountain Mission School campus is a special place that blesses all who visit. The school serves as home, church and school to more than 200 kids in need, coming to them not only from Appalachia, but also from more than 60 countries worldwide. MMS provides each child with the foundation of first-rate academics, a loving family environment, positive social support, and a firm commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This team will care for the people of MMS as well as the property. We are looking for families who enjoy spending time with the children and for people proficient at any type of trade. Each member will need to be flexible because the projects and activities will vary each day. Join us if you have these skills and interest. We will have several mandatory team meetings to help us develop a plan together, so we are well prepared to bless the staff and students for a week of blessing.
