This week, we have two trips in progress:

Guatemala – led by Jeff Lovell and Eric Peak. This team is doing a Vacation Bible School, and several of the trip members are (once again) spending time with their sponsored child. Connection Pointe member Neely McLoed is finishing up her 5-week preparation trip while the team is there and will return with them. Neely plans to move to Guatemala in January to serve alongside our Vision Trust partners.

Mountain Mission School (Grundy, VA) – led by Dave Wohlenhaus and Tim Holt. This team is two-fold; helping with grounds work and facilities during the day, having parties and giving devotions each night with different age groupings.

This Saturday, we have another group leaving for:

Navajo Nation (Winslow, AZ) – led by Rachael Cotteleer. This team is focusing on Red Sands School in its new location. Enrollment has increased with this move to a more central location. This is the school where Connection Pointe member Dawn Springer serves.

All three of these ministries are committed to children. All three of our teams are there to augment the work of the daily staff who work tirelessly to serve these young ones. As we receive updates from our teams, we will post them to this blog.

We are thankful for these opportunities for 43 Connection Pointe people to go and support these ministries, building relationships with our global partners. Be in prayer for them. Together, future generations are being trained about the Lord and His love for each of them.

Til next week, Dan
